Play is the language of children, and play therapy allows children to express their thoughts, feelings, and wishes in a safe and age-appropriate way. Toys and play materials are carefully selected for the child to express themselves. Play therapy has been shown to be effective for a variety of childhood concerns. Parents and family members are an important part of the child's therapy process. Stephanie works collaboratively with parents to provide support and resources. Stephanie is also available to provide preschool observations of clients who are having behavioral or social concerns upon request.
If you are a parent/caregiver looking for support for your child and family, please contact Stephanie to learn more about these services.
